Terms of Service — VaultWise

Effective date: 2026-05-16 App: VaultWise (iOS · App Store) Operator: Su Rong (individual developer, Singapore)

These are the rules for using VaultWise. We’ve kept them short. Read them.

1. What you’re agreeing to

By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

2. What the app does — and what it doesn’t

VaultWise is a tool for tracking your own finances. It is not:

We do our best to extract transactions accurately, but AI categorisation can be wrong. Always cross-check against your actual statement before relying on the numbers.

3. Your account

You sign in with a phone number. You’re responsible for keeping that phone (and the iOS device it’s on) secure. We have no way to recover an account that’s lost access to its phone number; create a fresh one and re-import your statements.

You must be at least 13 to use the app.

4. What you can and can’t do

You can:

You can’t:

5. Your content

The transactions, categorisation rules, vault names, and statements you import remain yours. We store them so the app can function. We don’t claim ownership and don’t use your content for any purpose other than running the service for you.

6. Service availability

The app and backend are provided “as is.” We aim for high availability but don’t promise zero downtime. We may take the backend offline for maintenance; we’ll try to give advance notice.

We may change features over time. We may discontinue the app, in which case we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and offer a data export.

7. Limits of our liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations; in those places they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

8. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. In either case, you can request a copy of your data per the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes go to the courts of Singapore, unless you’re in a jurisdiction (such as the EU) where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights — in which case those apply.

10. Changes

We’ll update these Terms over time. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the current version. For material changes (anything that meaningfully reduces your rights), we’ll notify you in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
